Allegro School of Music Newsletter April 2010
Allegro School of Music Recital-May 16th, 2010:
More than just a really fun time!
Allegro Directors Jeff and Josh with one of our wonderful Allegro Families: John, Debbie, Sean, Bailey, and Sarah Nichols at the 2010 Walk for Epilepsy at the University of Arizona on March 20th 2010. LEARN MORE ONLINE: http://www.epilepsyfoundation.org/arizona/
Instead of telling you that students who participate in our recitals practice more, play better, and stay interested in music lessons longer than those who don’t play in recitals, I thought I’d share what one of our clients, Nancy Gutierrez, has to say about the Allegro School of Music Recitals:
“ We LOVE the Recitals. My kids had a fabulous time, and we were able to invite all of our family from out of town, because it was held in such a great hall at the U of A. And it’s FREE which is even better. My kids really feel like it’s an accomplishment to participate in the Allegro School of Music Recitals”
Deadline to Sign up is April 16th, 2010!

Chilly in Chile: Donate a Blanket in April
In February, the country of Chile experienced the largest earth quake in history. With hundreds dead and millions homeless, it will take a while for Chile to get back on its feet.
Chileans in Tucson are participating in "A Blanket for Chile," collecting new and clean used blankets to be shipped to the south of the country, the hardest hit area.
Please donate what you can. Just drop the blankets off at the School of Music Office during business hours. THANK YOU!
